ILIAS SMEROS & CO, General Partnership is a family owned firm. Established in 2000 under the firm A. SMEROU & CO, General Partnership in Aspropyrgos and specialized in packaging and trade of sandblasting material. Purpose of company is to provide high-value and on-time customer services, under the compliance of all required safety regulations.
The product can be used for blast cleaning in the following industries:
- Shipbuilding, repair and maintenance
- Oil refineries, tank farms and terminals
- Offshore drilling and production platforms
- Module construction
- Chemical and other process industries
- Civil Engineering
- Restoration work
- Miscellaneous construction and repair work, such as steel constructions, machinery, pipelines and valves, cranes, railroads, car and truck bodywork etc.
YIELD/ABRASIVE CONSUMPTION
Although it is rather difficult to measure the blast speed or yield / abrasive consumption under varying operating conditions and different degrees of surface cleanliness, the expected range of SANDBLASTING consumption is translated into between 35-50 m²/t for Sa 2.5 degree of surface cleanliness. This range has been calculated based on site testing and also reported by our customers after testing under full scale conditions.
